PASSEPORT

The passport is a document issued by the government of a country to its nationals to facilitate travel abroad.


To get a Haitian passport, the recipient must prove his Haitian citizenship and provide proof. The law does not allow native-born Haitians who have obtained foreign citizenship to hold a Haitian passport.


The application of (e) must appear in person at the Consulate to sign the passport application form in the presence of a consular officer


Type of passport.


The Honorary Consulate of Haiti issued regular passports only.


Reasons for the request.

  • Declaration of birth

The child should be told the Haitian Mission nearest to obtaining an extract of birth records. (See declaration or registration of birth).
The child should be born in Ivory Coast father and / or mother Haitians who themselves were born Haitians and have never renounced their nationality at birth.

 

  • Passport lost / stolen

The applicant must have a statement from the police station of district of residence; added to the required documents listed below


- Statutory Declaration
   This is a sworn statement during a meeting with Consul or Vice Consul.

       - The applicant must appear at the Consulate equipped with all required documents (originals) to obtain an appointment for his affidavit.
         The statutory declaration does not automatically entitled to obtain a passport.
         The applicant's statements will be pre-analyzed and under investigation

       - Renewal / Change of information
         The applicant must be provided with its old passport in addition to the original documents (see documents).

Case of an adopted child (only originals will be accepted at the request of issuance of passports)

* Judgment of adoption
* Birth certificate of Ivory coast
* Birth of Haiti

Documents Required

For the Haitian passport, the applicant must provide the following documents:

• Citizen Major

  • Birth Certificate, original or extract from the National Archives.

  • Map of residence, residence permit or other proof of residence in Canada.

  • Health Insurance Card or interim care record.

  • Two passport size color photographs (35mmx45mm).

  • The Old passport is required in the case of renewal, change information or passport saturated.

  • The original marriage certificate, if the applicant is a married woman.

  • The original of the Divorce Act, if the applicant is a divorcee.

  • The moose of the Deed of Death of husband, if the applicant is a widow.

  • ID Card Registration Number Fiscal (NIF)


• Citizen Minor

Should be added to the documents cited above:

  • Parental consent signed by a parent or guardian. (The parental consent form is available at the reception of the Consulate).

  • The minor must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

It must present an official document (passport, identity card, driving license, health card) to establish his identity.

  • The identity card with the tax registration number (TIN) is not required for minors.

• Money Order payable to: Honorary Consulate of Haiti in Cote d'Ivoire.
Regular treatment: within 5 working days
Emergency treatment: within 3 working days


IT IS RECOMMENDED TO RENEW PASSPORT SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE DATE EXPIRATION
